Nurse Faculty Loan Program Information

Southwest Baptist University has received funding that will help address the area's nursing shortage by providing loan forgiveness of up to 85% during a four-year period after graduation if the student becomes a full-time nurse faculty at any accredited university in the United States. These loans are available to students enrolled full-time or part-time in the master of science in nursing education program.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to receive any aid for which you may qualify, including the Federal Direct Grad PLUS Student Loan. SBU's recommended deadline for submitting the FAFSA is March 15 to maximize the financial aid for which you may qualify.
